Gingerbread House

One of the Christmas vacation activities the girls really like is decorating a gingerbread house. We barely were able to squeeze it in this year, but we did and BEFORE Christmas! 

Since the time and energy during Christmas is usually running low for me, I buy a kit at the store instead of taking the time to make it all from scratch {maybe some day}. 

This year, the little really only wanted the gingerbread "girl" and the candy.

The older takes is seriously and has a vision in her mind {as most things in life} and doesn't always enjoy when the little one messes with that vision. She loves decorating the house and did most of it.

 

There were silly moments.

And LOTS of talking:
