We have been having a crazy busy month of August and when I stop to think, I am not sure what in the world we have been doing! Everything just takes longer now that Brooklyn is here with us it seems and what might have taken 5 minutes, now seems to take at least 45 minutes! We were generously given (by some family moving) a swing set about a week ago and Maddy and Brook have been LOVING it! Every second we are home and it is not raining (which has been few days this week), Maddy has asked to go outside. We are loving it!
Maddy is loving Angelina Ballerina and was dancing tonight in the living room while watching a little video we borrowed from the library today. She is doing great at gymnastics and is in a harder class for her and has been learning a lot. This week she learned how to do a couple of tricks on the bar by herself for the first time. It is great to see her learn and grow.
Brook is starting to really crawl; crawl everywhere and get into everything. I caught her up on her knees trying to pick the safety plugs out of an outlet yesterday. She is to the "has to be watched every second" stage! It is fun and exciting to see her experience everything for the first time and still crazy busy. She has only ever made it halfway down our hall because she always gets stuck at the door stop that makes the funny noise. She cannot ever seem to make herself get past it because she is entertained for a good 10 minutes sitting right there playing. She is also saying "mamamama" for mama, "ha" for hi and "baaaaa" for everything else. She is also starting to dance when sitting up. She is a firecracker and so entertaining to be around. We are blessed with two very adorable, kind, sweet and quirky girls.
