Berries

Yesterday, we went to check our garden and found around a dozen strawberries to pick. It was fun to see them growing and ripening and our girls were thrilled with EATING! I have also been enjoying our fresh basil this week and have been making myself a panini for lunch with sourdough bread, mozzarella cheese and fresh basil and tomatoes. A-m-a-z-i-n-g. 

We had my in-law's over for dinner last night, a treat for all of us. The girls loved showing off for them. Here is Brook eating her snack:

It is another rainy, stormy day today. That makes me want to do nothing but lay in my bed and sleep! But, children are calling and so I must {ha, as if it not the most delightful thing ever} go and love on them! Brook is surviving all of the rain in her sister's boots!
