{Gotcha} Sketch Support....and a giveaway

This is the layout I created using the July Two Page Sketch.
To create the top flag accent, I misted a flag shape onto the cardstock. Then I outlined it with a black pen and stamped over the mist with a similar color ink to create the bubbles. Then I added a few accent banners on top.
  • I made some variations to the sketch to create my layout. I used the left side of the two page sketch to make the one page layout.
  • I moved the title to the left side of the layout and added a banner accent at the top of the layout.
  • I used three photos of the same size instead of the 4x6 and 4x4 photos shown in the sketch.
  • I made a banner where the star accent line is shown in the sketch and shortened the banner at the ribbon.
  • I added a few accents at the bottom of the layout.
  • I added a date tag below the photos.

    Thanks everyone! Steffanie, the photos are actually taken on Hipstamatic on my Iphone. I don't usually do much to them, but upload them to the computer and print them in shutterfly {it allows me to center them on the print, so I can have the nice square photo}!

    I love how you used the banners in two different ways. We are demonstrating banners at CS in the fall, I should steer them in your direction.

    I love the way you stacked your pictures and left the other half of your page open for embellies. I have a really hard time leaving open space because when I try to do it randomly it looks awkward.

    I like what you did with this LO. I work mostly with 8.5 x 11 and find it hard to get all the photos on a page. This LO would work beautifully by sizing it down. The inspirations you and others give to me are priceless. Thanks also for the opportunity to check out a sketch book.
