Summer Artist Series: Matisse
Our second artist we have studied this summer is Henri Matisse {additional biography info found here}. I gave them a brief overview of his life, his artist influences and his different styles {fauvism}. Then, I let the girls choose from 3 different paintings,as to what they would like to try and paint.
