Well it has already been an eventful day and we have only made it to nap time! This morning, first thing, M asked to paint. So she painted while I fixed breakfast. Then after our breakfast, and while B took a morning nap, M invited me to Tinkerbell's birthday party. There is always a birthday party going on around here. Just a few weeks ago we were invited to Hannah Montana's birthday party. For that party everyone, literally everyone, had to dress up complete with beads, crowns, etc. Poor Sam was not invited, so he dressed himself. I will spare him the public humiliation of showing those pictures to the world! What was funny about that was that M had to "re-dress" him because she was not satisfied with his effort! I love that my hubby loves his house full of girls so much that he is willing to dress up in princess attire, have his hair done and play Barbies and Polly Pockets tirelessly. He is one of a kind!
Today's party was quite the event and there were, naturally, a lot of celebrity guests - such as Dumbo. M and I went "shopping" in her room before the party for what gifts we were going to bring Tinkerbell.
After the party, we decorated her shopping cart with stickers. Then the Polly Pockets and ponies went to a carnival (after a boat ride in, what else, but a Krispy Kreme hat). Each Polly Pocket performed an act at the carnival and then had to milk a cow (can you tell we go to the fair every year)?
And while B was playing on the floor earlier this morning, I look over and she has gone from laying down to sitting up completely all by herself! Already? She seems to be in a bit of a hurry to catch up with her sister. She is already up on her knees trying to figure out how to crawl and has been doing that for about a week now. And today she turns 7 months old. Already? It does not seem possible to be already on the downhill slide to her first birthday!
