The Day After...

We are so thankful. We are so thankful today. Thankful that we were able to spend Christmas Eve at my parents - all day. We loved it. We are thankful it was relaxing, restful and fun. We are thankful Starbucks was open regular hours on Christmas Eve so I might be caffeinated before breakfast (I am the ONLY coffee drinker in that house (with my parents, sister, brother-in-law and hubby))!

We are thankful that everyone was well enough in our extended family to have the "usual" family Christmas at my grandma and grandpa's house. Thankful there were doughnuts. Thankful the girls were able to play with their cousins - a lot. Thankful that Brooklyn is a baby that loves to be around and entertain people!

We are thankful that at my in-laws everyone was well and able to enjoy another wonderful big breakfast and spend the morning together.

We are thankful for little treasures that we are able to witness like this:

Thankful we made "magic reindeer food" and that Maddy loved the idea of sprinkling it outside for them:

Thankful to see what this baby would be interested in on her first Christmas (only the bows and ribbons):

Thankful for two girls to leave Santa his cookies this year:

Thankful that two girls can share snack together now at the same "little" table - big accomplishment for the little one:

Most of all, thankful for Jesus who came so we can all enjoy the things of this life and the next one. And thankful my girls love Santa, presents, family, but most of all they know WHO it is all about and love Jesus and sing songs about him and talk about him more than anything else. Thankful for it all.
