the weekend

It was nice to finally have a weekend again. All weekend, the weather was slightly warmer - enough to head outside for a little bit each day. Maddy loves her bike. She flies down the street and sidewalk faster than her training wheels can keep up! All the time, squealing and giggling. This weekend Pooh Bear had many rides on her scooter and bike.

Saturday at the grocery store, the powdered doughnuts made it into out cart. Mmmm. Both girls had such a good time eating those little doughnuts. It was the first time for Brook to eat them and she loved them. 

Sunday, after church, we went to the mall for a bit. Not because we adore shopping there, but to stop at a store and pick out a couple of new pairs of earrings for the sweet girl that has made it to her 8 week point and can now change out her earrings. 

Here is where Brook enjoyed her weekend - dumping the bins and sitting inside them. Sweet baby.
