Weekend

Our lives seem to be going at a very fast pace lately. I was looking forward to slow, lazy, summer days with my girls. But so far, just when I think we might get a slight slow down - the pace picks up once again. Last week was no exception!

Last Saturday was a sweet, special day in our house. It was this wonderful man's birthday. I am so grateful each and every day for this amazing man that makes my life and the life of our children better each day. He is so much fun. We had a nice evening dinner with family complete with his favorite desserts. 

The end of last week we were able to have my niece here for a couple of days. The two older girls played and played and played and played. Maddy loved every second of having someone older to play with. Friday it was raining, so we headed off to the local science center. The girls loved it. Have you ever seen a newscast interrupted by a baby?

The girls had a great time exploring.
