Time away

Last Friday morning, there was a visitor on our back porch for a few hours. Coco, a neighbor's cat, entertained our sweetie for a long time. She showed Coco her toys, play doh and talked to her so sweetly through the door. Adorable.

Also last Friday, Maddy was out of school 2 hours early. So, we hit the road and spent a few hours away...just the four of us. 

Unfortunately, many other people had the same idea. But, they decided to stay open an hour later to accommodate the crowd, so it worked out just fine after all. The weather was perfect, the rides were fun and we had a nice "mini" time away as a family.
