Santa

A couple of Friday's ago, there was a day off school for the older one that lined up with the hubby's day off. So....we took the girls to see Santa. This year, there was even a carousel to help pass the time. 

They made their lists {both asking for Miss Piggy dolls}. Then came the best part, mailing them to Santa...by themselves.

They colored, slid down the slide, and drove the trains to pass the time.

Then it was time. Their turn to see Santa. Our little one has never cared to be close to Santa, so we were anxious to see what she would do this year. She walked up, sat on his lap with her sister and even answered his questions when he talked to her. {The oldest asked for a Miss Piggy doll and a Fozzie Bear doll, the little one asked for a Miss Piggy doll and "toys"}. We heard Santa say "you both want the same thing?" Yes. They do.

One of our favorite Christmas traditions. Even better now that they both enjoyed the experience!
