When my sweet kindergartner arrived home from school on Tuesday, she let me know she had a project for us to work on...just the two of us. She grabbed some scissors {fiskers rounded tip scissors for both of us}, construction paper, crayons and glue for us to start.
She told me step...by...step exactly what to do and even cut a few things for me. She instructed me on how to color the snow, where to put what triangle and how to fold it "just right". {They started this "scene" in art class today and she just "knew how to finish it and what to do next."}
I did teach her how to make her snowman stand up...the rest was her.
I loved every single second of the instruction and project time. Hope she "holds class" again for me soon!!
