Let the sunshine in

No coats.
Short sleeves.
Flip flops.
No umbrellas.
Playing outside.
Open windows.
Sunshine.
Pure bliss.

Finally, after a few weeks of rainy, cold weather we have been grateful for the past couple of days of sun and spring like weather (70's)! We spent as much time outside as we could trying to soak up the sun! I also went on a cleaning spree, must be the spring like weather to inspire some "spring" cleaning in the fall. I do not enjoy the cleaning, but love sitting in a clean house!

Maddy loved riding her birthday scooter, especially up and down the neighbors driveway since they have a steeper slope and she can go faster. She also has been playing a little soccer and basketball (showing off her dribbling skills for me). Her new little miss sunshine doll and stuffed froggy were able to get a good ride yesterday on her scooter.

Brook is crawling like lightening. She loves to play peek a boo (covering her face with a blanket and then uncovering it for us). We love the scrunched up nose and sniffing she does while smiling. She simply brings joy to our family and is hysterical and fun to watch.

Stay 70 degree days and sunshine. Don't go! Oh well, at least we can appreciate it before the cold and rain comes back later in the week!!
