I have been out of the habit of making cards for a few years now. When we lived abroad, I started making cards to send home {since my family would not have been able to read the Spanish cards that were available to buy and the choices were very slim}. Since moving back, I quickly fell out of the habit. Recently, I made two birthday cards {one for my grandma and one for my great aunt}.
First card {grandma's}:
Second card {for this one, I even brought out the woodless colored pencils for the words}:

I am not sure what it says about me though when my favorite part of the card is the envelope. The names are stamped off center at the bottom with a simple hand drawn frame around it. Clean. Simple. Who knows, maybe this will become a habit again?
