Firsts....

Over the weekend, the ice cream man finally came down our street. Maddy was so excited. This is what happened a few weeks ago when she could hear him, but he never came down the street {so sad}. So we were all thrilled to see him over the weekend!! It was Brooklyn's first ice cream from the ice cream man. She really wanted everyone else's ice cream more than her own!

We now have an 18 month old. It doesn't seem possible! She is quite the climber, so we felt it was time to try her bed without the baby bed rail. She loves it! We are trying to limit her pacifier to bedtime, so she really likes to climb into her bed during the day and get her "paci fix" and then get down and continue playing. Hilarious. She has been staying in her bed until Saturday and I found her after naptime laying behind her door, asleep. 

Last, but definitely not least, we are trying to rescue our garden from the Japanese Beetles. But we were able to harvest a few items out of the garden. Delicious home-grown goodness. We cannot wait for the corn, which is just about ready!
