Cold {Snow} Day

Today every school around was canceled. Even though Maddy only goes three days a week to preschool, it felt like a snow day for us since Sam had today off as well.

But did they call off schools for snow? Nope. It was because it was so stinking cold. Minus 20-30 degrees today. C-O-L-D. And they have already called off school tomorrow due to the C-O-L-D weather.

So, what is a family that is spending the day together to do on our snow {cold} day? Spend it inside in our warm {or as warm as we can get it} house - all together. It was wonderful {although the hubby LOVES to go places, so sitting all day and evening in the house is hard for him - but is bliss for me!}

Even a 5 year old can fit inside the coupe if you try hard enough {barely}:

It is good to have a little hot chocolate with your marshmallows:

We start them early around here with art and crafts! Today was Brooklyn's first time to try it out. Sure there was a little coloring on her own body and licking the dot-to-dot painter, but she was so proud she has been carrying her picture around and showing it to all of us all night long. Very worth it:

One {of many} pictures Maddy colored today:

What fun is a little sister if you can't dress her up once in a while?

Brook has turned into quite the entertainer at dinner {anything for a laugh - this might be payback for the hubby who apparently was quite the class clown!}

Not the most flattering pose with chips in her mouth, but seriously have you ever seen eyes so blue?

And what is best to end a snow {cold} day? Snuggling!
