We stayed inside on Friday night and had family game night and pizza. Maddy loves to help us play Mario Party 8 on the Wii. She is our offical "roller". We also played a lot of Wii Resort because she is really starting to get into bowling and sword fighting. It is fun to watch.
But Saturday morning, we were up early so we could eat, get everyone into their snow gear {takes a long while} and hit the sledding hills. We are lucky we just have to cross the street and there is our neighborhoods official sledding hill. If it gets too busy, we can always go into our very hilly back yard to sled. My mom and dad, sister, brother-in-law and niece all came over to enjoy the hills. We had a great time sledding and going up and down and up and down the hills. My dad got our lawn chairs out and had a nice comfy seat to watch the activity.
Then, mid-morning when the girls were starting to get too tired to walk up and down the hills anymore, my brother-in-law ran home and brought back a fun surprise - his four wheeler. We had the best time riding it up and down the snow covered streets and up and down the sledding hills. The little girls loved it, but I think all of the adults loved it even more. Eventually my husband ended up behind it on the sled and loved every second. By that time, I was inside with one little one sleeping and the other two wanting hot chocolate. It was a great day filled with fun family memories. We are thankful that our families live close and are always ready for an adventure!
Brook was realy only interested in eating the snow

The hubby, who now really WANTS a 4-wheeler. He had the best time.
